ADOR is sustainably committed to child protection

Children are our future. They not only need love and security, but also our protection. Rainer Koch, shareholder of Ador Edelmetalle GmbH, founded the It's for Kids initiative in 2000. As a fundraising organization for children, It's for Kids uses creative, active and monetary donations to help mistreated, abused, neglected or otherwise disadvantaged children.

The idea is as simple as it is ingenious: in cooperation with dentists, old gold is collected and the recycling proceeds are donated to 100% social projects for child protection. In 2015, together with Tobias Mehwitz, also managing partner of Ador Edelmetalle GmbH, the charitable foundation It's for Kids was established from the initiative.

"It's for Kids" is not a standalone sponsorship, it is a charity organisation which redirects monetary resources to various children's aid projects accross the whole Germany. We often add something to the collected amount through active or creative donations.

Although It's for Kids does not have its own sponsorship, the Mutwald project was launched in 2022. Our vision is to create courage to face life for children with life-threatening illnesses during the most difficult time and, in the best case, to contribute to a higher chance of survival for the children. In addition, to create an unforgettable day for the children after they have survived their illness, with numerous positive memories and their own forest of courage. For his commitment to the It's for Kids Foundation, Rainer Koch was honored with the Federal Cross of Merit by our Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on September 19, 2023. As a company and founder, we are absolutely proud of our foundation and our fellow shareholder Rainer Koch to receive this recognition and appreciation. The success of this foundation is only possible thanks to the support of many volunteers. Thank you for your commitment to the good cause
