Description
The UX module, consisting of two additional cameras and a projector, provides a new kind of user experience. To select a workflow element or start the scan, icons are projected onto the system disk and can be activated by hand gestures, almost independently of the PC.
The user can freely determine the scan sequence as usual: The upper jaw, lower jaw, articulator or other objects can be used according to the selection. With the help of interior monitoring, the objects in the Vinyl UXD are automatically aligned in height using AI-controlled Z-axis positioning, so that the best possible scanning results can be guaranteed.
The projector illuminates dies that are to be exposed in secondDie and singleDie on the model in the interior. The model and object holder can therefore remain in the scanner, eliminating the time-consuming task of checking which teeth need to be removed. During the 2D scan, the illuminations show the correct shade of the reconstruction types from exocad DentalCAD® on. During other work processes, assistance is also projected onto the system or universal plate. Incorrect insertion of articulators or impressions can thus be ruled out.
Thanks to the Vinyl UXD's enlarged system plate, even bulky articulators can be easily placed in the scanner. All of these features make work much easier, as potential sources of error are minimized. The Vinyl UXD - a scanner in a class of its own!
